Estee Lauder forecast annual profit and sales below estimates as the global beauty market struggles with slowing demand mainly in the China market and said CEO Fabrizio Freda was retiring after nearly 16 years.

​Lingerie giant Victoria’s Secret & Co (VS&Co) has named Hillary Super as its new CEO and board member, effective September 9. She succeeds Martin Waters in both roles. 

The Italian luxury ready-to-wear label owned by Exelite, also owner of Liu Jo has appointed as its new creative director David Koma, who has notably worked for Mugler. Koma succeeds Walter Chiapponi.

​Andrew Keith is quitting as CEO of the Selfridges division of Selfridges Group with the group’s chief executive André Maeder replacing him. He’s leaving this autumn to pursue new ventures.

The Italian shoe brand, owned by the Chinese Lanvin Group has appointed the English designer as creative director, effective July 23. He has extensive experience in the luxury sector, from Calvin Klein to Ferragamo.
