This initiative, in collaboration with fashion stylist Katie Grand, as well as the Shanghai Fashion Designers Association (SFDA) and the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI), aims to nurture young creative talents.

As part of the project, the fashion house will support Fang in the creation and presentation of her new collection. This includes providing fabrics and materials and organizing a runway show at the Dolce & Gabbana premises on via Broggi 23 in Milan, scheduled for Milan Fashion Week in September 2024.

“It is important to always have a story and emotions to tell, and through her delicate, romantic and dreamy designs, Susan manages to clearly convey her passion for this profession, with her young and fresh look. For this reason, we are delighted to support her on such a special occasion, bringing her creativity to Milan,” said Domenico and Stefano.

Fang, a graduate of Central Saint Martins in London, founded her label in 2017. Her designs are known for blending pastel hues, fractal patterns, and lightweight fabrics. Fang’s work is rooted in a dreamy interpretation of mathematics and perception, combined with sustainable practices realized through meticulous handcrafting.

“I feel so incredibly fortunate to have the support of such an iconic maison behind my collection this season. Working with Dolce&Gabbana alongside the wonderful support that I have received from Katie Grand, Camera Nazionale Della Moda Italiana and the Shanghai Fashion Designers Association has been instrumental, creating so many new opportunities along the creative journey,” said Fang.

“Drawing on the rich cultural commonalities between China and Italy, we have incorporated elements of design and technique that celebrate both traditions. We have felt a part of the Dolce&Gabbana family from day one and are thrilled to present what will be a very exciting collection during Milan Fashion Week this September."

Previous editions have included collaborations with Miss Sohee, Matty Bovan, Tomo Koizumi, Karoline Vitto and Feben.
