The outfits worn by the stars of the 2024 Olympic opening ceremony, including Céline Dion, Lady Gaga, and Aya Nakamura, are on display at the Galerie Dior in Paris until September 30, as confirmed by a spokesperson for the fashion house on Thursday.
Céline Dion, performing Edith Piaf's Hymne à l'amour from the first level of the Eiffel Tower in her first appearance in four years, was dressed in a sparkling white silk georgette gown with a high collar, long sleeves, fringes, and a train, adorned with sequins and fine beads.
Other leading artists from the ceremony also donned outfits designed by the prestigious French house, owned by the LVMH group, which is a "premium" partner of the 2024 Olympics.
Aya Nakamura performed a medley of her hits and those of Charles Aznavour in a golden feathered mini-dress, featuring a one-shoulder design and enhanced with two silk drapes at the back.
American superstar Lady Gaga sang Mon truc en plumes, an iconic French music hall song, wearing a black satin bustier topped with a short jacket and a long skirt made of black and pink feathers, complete with a feathered headdress.
Also on display at the Galerie Dior, located in Paris' 8th arrondissement, is the eight-meter-long draped dress in the colors of the French flag—blue, white, and red—worn by opera singer Axelle Saint-Cirel, who performed the national anthem La Marseillaise.
